Under the Slogan “Your Zakat is Mercy”, Tkiyet Um Ali kicked off its Ramadan Campaign for the year 2017. The campaign aims to encourage donors to pay their Zakat to Tkiyet Um Ali, which in return contributes in feeding endorsed families. By the end of 2017 the number of endorsed families hit 25000 family in need throughout the Kingdom, these families receive food parcels on monthly basis enough to fulfill their nutritional needs for one month.
AMMAN — Tkiyet Um Ali on Wednesday launched the second phase of its food support programme, which will include an additional 10,000 families over the next five years.

Amman 30 August 2016- Dr. Florence Eid-Oakden, the CEO and Chief Economist of Arabia Monitor, member of the Board of Directors at ABC International Bank plc - London Branch and wife of His Excellency Edward Oakden CMG, The British Ambassador to Jordan, visited Tkiyet Um Ali premises on Sunday, August 21, with a group of young Jordanian girls who are children of the British Embassy staff.

For the second consecutive year, as part of its corporate social responsibility (CSR) programs, PepsiCo-Jordan has renewed its partnership with Tkiyet Um Ali (TUA), pledging to support TUA’s efforts to alleviate hunger among the 18,300 underprivileged families it serves during this year’s holy month. The agreement was signed by PepsiCo-Jordan General Manager, Eng. Nidal Hamam, and TUA Director General, Samer Balkar, on Sunday 29 May, 2016, at the Company’s headquarters.
Tkiyet Um Ali (TUA) in partnership with World Vision International Jordan (WVJ) held a launching ceremony for the second phase of Taiwan rice distribution project which is donated by the Government of Taiwan.
Taiwan Government through World Vision Taiwan donated 3900 metric tons of rice to WVJ to alleviate acute food shortage of the crisis-affected Jordanians.
In cooperation with Hayat FM radio, Tkiyet Um Ali held a radiothon tomorrow the 20th of June to help raise fund for Tkiyet Um Ali’s sustainable programmes and shed light on its daily operations .The one-day radiothon was designed to host some of TUA’s supporters in order to spread awareness about poverty and hunger, and highlight Tkiyet Um Ali’s mission in eradicating hunger in Jordan. Donors will be able to donate to the radiothon in person at Hayat FM radio headquarters can call and make donations. Donors could also book an appointment and the representative of TUA will go and receive the donation directly.
“Iraf Baladk Initiative“ visited Tkiyet Um Ali premises to volunteer at the Wayfrarer programme and know more about TUA operations.
